At the heart of our offerings is business-grade broadband, which opens up a world of tools specifically designed for small businesses, enabling them to take advantage of the latest technologies that are no longer the preserve of large companies, such as remote backup, mobile email and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and without the need for capital investment. We also gives even the smallest company the opportunity to take advantage of corporate-grade IT support and management for a low monthly subscription.

We offer a range of free resources that enable businesses equip themselves to understand best practice, access independent opinion and advice and ultimately make the right technology and workstyle decisions for their business.

Our unique free online resource, Business Insight, gives SMEs valuable information on key business and technology related issues. A series of 'knowledge centres' focus on hot issues such as 'flexible working', 'serving your customers', 'controlling costs' and 'managing growth', and offer the best of opinion and advice with guides, fact sheets, case studies and articles, plus regular webinars and podcasts from experts and small businesses themselves.

BT Business also offers a range of free business-grade applications and services, helping UK small businesses to control costs, build an online presence and better run their operations, so they can focus on their core business strengths. This includes BT Tradespace, an free-to-join online community that brings small businesses and individual sellers together with potential customers and partners to do business. BT Workspace is also available, a web-based, easy-to-use hosted collaboration tool that helps groups of people share information, manage projects and improve customer relationships. BT Business Builder is a free service that offers a basic business administration processes common for both start-ups and established businesses that covers core financial, legal and administrative elements of business management. With BT Business Total Broadband customers can also get a free additional VoIP line and free online security.
